| Within the 10th International Stage, Estudis programs LECOQ'S FIRST VOYAGE. This journey will lead us to discover the foundations on which all theatrical creation stands.
After years of intense collaboration, Angel Bonora and Berty Tovías propose to unwalk the path to approach the empty space again, that silence where the actor is situated. To do so, they use a basic tool in Jacques Lecoq pedagogy: the Neutral Mask. This mask is a fundamental element for the training of the actor. This mask, that neither laughs nor cries, is a point of reference for expression. It's the basis of all acting. The actor discovers, in it, the blank page on which to print an emotion or make a character legible.
Christophe is considered by all of us the great expert in movement, applied acrobatics and improvisation. He has been a teacher in the school in Paris since 1981, and in this X Stage he will, again, give us the possibility of discovering the game of identification with elements, maters, animals, etc. With him, one learns to give importance to the gesture, to give intention and expressive strength "that meeting". To "sharpen" a situation and, above all, to enjoy acting.
In a world subject to the ups and downs of great passions, the stage is the space to recognize them, to reveal their nature and play with them. When we talk about jealousy, avarice, greed, pride or vanity, what are we really talking about? How does a suspicion evolve and develop so that it becomes concern and turns into panic?
