Within the 10th International Stage, Estudis programs LECOQ'S SECOND VOYAGE. This journey, that Lecoq liked calling "geodramatic", will show us the geography through which theatrical creation travels. The chosen itinerary gives the actor a chance to discover the most important territories. Their demands and servitudes, their permanencies, the registers they call for and the necessary techniques. It is an itinerary that is organized in 4 phases and directed by Berty Tovías, who counts, this year, with a team of 4 specialists: - Harris Gordon, Christophe Marchand, Philippe Peychaud y Christian Atanasiu.

Harrris Gordon, Berty Tovías From 7th to 11st July. From 10h to 14h

To start this fabulous journey is to give the word to the actor so he can tell us stories. To open diverse universes to the public and to get near the emotions, the passions, and the feelings that inhabit the stage. These are steep territories that reveal the fragility of heroes and characters. The wise say it is paradise for dramatic actors.
Price: 150 €

Christophe Marchand From 14th to 18th July. From 10h to 14h

The second week of the Stage Christophe Marchand will take us into slippery territories. Places where poetics can trip on sense of humour and the fall can bring laughter. They are full of tricks, misunderstandings and contradictions. This is where the characters are trapped by deception, feelings come to the surface and passions overflow. These territories house the innocent but also the guilty, the brave and the cowards. The worls laughs at their misery. They are the comedians.

Price: 185 €

Philippe Peychaud From 21st to 25th July. From 10h to 14h

The tragic, its heroes, its choirs cry out to the gods, the buffoons spit at them. The buffoons and the tragic are the great space of liberty, of creation and enjoyment for any actor. They open our eyes to an unsuspected beauty. The Art of the Word. They share the uncertain times in which we live. They inhabit the border territories that communicate through the narrow neck of a sand clock. Now, up, now, down. Bit by bit, gesture by gesture, word by word, they change our point of view. How far can joke and mockery go? Can a caricature unleash a tragedy?
Price: 185 €

Christian Atanasiu From 28th to 31st July. From 10h to 14h

Christian Atanasiu defines himself as a German actor with Mediterranean roots and tendencies. He is the creator of numerous jewels of the Theatre of the Absurd, and his proposal is to explore the possibilities of a Cabaret that, instead of criticizing the sad reality -which is often boring and unchanging-, moves us further away from it. With him we flee to worlds where the counter-mask, the laugh and nonsense prevail. A place where the rules of behaviour, language, communication and logic may be broken and contradictions don't disturb but entertain.
